Tycorun Safety Certifications
Tycorun strives to make the safest lithium-ion batteries possible. Below are the safety certifications obtained to ensure safe manufacturing and use of our top-rated lithium-ion batteries. We have all been certified by these certifications, and we promise to use only the A-grade cells from the brand factories.
Tycorun Lithium-ion battery products passed UN 38.3. and have been CE certified, which indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards. Our lithium-ion cells are ISO certified. (ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System, ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Management System).UL2271 Certification, OHSAS 18001:2007, and IEC62133 are also the certifications that we have passed.
Which is the best battery for my RV?
Lithium-ion phosphate batteries (LFP) are the best dedicated lithium RV battery in the industry, and they indeed have excellent performance in many aspects, like good heat resistance and a long life cycle. And you should better choose a 12V battery since 12V is a nominal voltage for most of the electrical appliances in an RV. We recommend you purchase a DC-DC smart charger if you need to charge off your engine’s alternator, and please remember to choose the lithium setting. And a Tycorun Solar charge controller is the best choice for charging from solar panels.
What Trolling Motor Battery Do You Recommend?
Tycorun has supplied trolling motor batteries for over fifty professional athletes. Depending on how big your trolling motor is, our professional recommendation about the size of the battery is below.
20 lbs / 20A @ 12V / TC 23 or TC 54
25 lbs / 25A @ 12V / TC 23 or TC 54
30 lb / 30A @ 12V / TC 54 or TC 100
45 lb / 42A @ 12V / TC 54 or TC 100
55 lb / 50A @ 12V / TC 54 or TC 100
70 lb / 42A @ 24V / 24V Single or TC 54 x 2 or TC 100 x 2*
80 lb / 56A @ 24V / 24V Single or TC 100 x 2 or TC 200 x 2*
101 lb / 46 @ 36V / 36V Single or TC 54 x 3 or TC 100 x 3*
112 lb / 52 @ 36V / 36V Single or TC 100 x 3 or TC 200 x 3*
Tip. A suggestion from the expert: if you want to prolong run time, use a photovoltaic panel. For instance, for a ten-hour fishing day, Tycorun’s solar panel can extend the run time by 120%
Are Lithium Batteries Safe? Will they blow up?
Our lithium-ion batteries are very safe and reliable. “Lithium-ion battery” Is the name for a type of battery with many variations, and each of those variations has their levels of risk.In addition, each Tycorun Lithium battery is protected from overheating, overcharging, and short-circuiting by a battery management system (BMS) microchip.
How long will my lithium battery take to fully charge?
If you are charging at 10 amps, and your battery is a 12V100AH, then it will take you 10 hours if the battery is completely dead. If you charge at 30A, then it will take 3.3 hours. It’s as simple as that.

How to get the longest battery life out of my lithium-ion battery?
For greatest longevity, we recommend not fully discharging the battery nor over-charging by leaving it connected to a charger well beyond its full charge cycle. Remember that over the long term, the battery has a limited number of charge and discharge cycles with “one cycle” being either a complete charge and discharge cycle, or a cumulative of both to add up to a full cycle.
How should I store my battery?
Store Tycorun Lithium batteries in a cool dry place, and be sure to fully charge them before storage. If storing it for an extended period of time, we advise charging them up at regular intervals–typically “topping off” every month or every other month.
Can I Use Two 12-Volt Batteries Instead a 24-Volt Battery?
Yes! Connecting multiple batteries together to create a higher voltage is called connecting in series. Wiring batteries in series is common practice in the boating and solar storage community. For example, a number of the pro-bass fishing champions we sponsor use three 12 volt Lithium batteries in parallel to run their trolling motors. It provides the high voltage needed for big motors, while providing the long amp hours needed to run a trolling motor for a full day.
How long will my batteries last?
There are several factors that affect the life of a battery. Weather, temperature, recharge cycles, depth of discharge (DOD), discharge current, charging current, charging method and duration of static use can all have dramatic effects on battery life. A properly maintained Lithium Battery should last roughly three times as long as lead-acid battery used in similar conditions. Life expectancy is 10 years.
Why are lithium-ion batteries so expensive?
There are two reasons. First we use only the best high power lithium ion cells and these come with a cost, usually about 3~4 times higher than lead acid for the same capacity.
Second, the battery management system contributes much to the cost depending on its complexity. This system checks for high voltage, low voltage, over current, short circuit, or over temperature. If these conditions exist the battery management system will protect the battery from harm.
